Teamwork makes the dream work!

It started with a dream and vision that things could be done better in this industry where homeowners rent their vacation homes to guests. Our dream included making the entire guest experience better, if not the best. So, after devoting over 20 combined years to one of the leading vacation rental companies on the island, we took a leap and started our own boutique vacation rental business. We focus on the owner and the guest, implementing the tools to be successful. Our team has proven that the new way of doing things is better for everyone involved and so rewarding!


Mark Kombrink


After careers in real estate and finance, serving thousands of clients, Mark has developed excellent communication skills and a reputation for dependability.  Though his degree is in Finance, Mark is truly a Jack-of-all-trades kind of guy with a wide variety of knowledge and skills.

As a maverick in the vacation rental industry, Mark keeps his finger on the pulse of what the industry is looking for, whether guests or owners, and his company is agile enough to make the necessary changes within the industry to implement ongoing marketing strategies for his owners while providing unmatched service and experiences for his guests.

Besides marketing and managing properties, Mark serves owners as their on-site property manager, overseeing maintenance and projects. Mark takes pride in making sure all his owners and guests are happy through his hard work, dedication, and attention to detail.

When not tending to business, Mark spends as much quality time with his family as possible. Mark and his three sons consider themselves adventurers and continually seek journeys off the beaten path, preferably outdoors in our amazing Lowcountry. 

Susan White Treadaway


Susan is very fortunate to have grown up on Hilton Head Island, moving here from the upstate of South Carolina in 1968.


At a very early age, her passion for interior design was recognized, eventually leading her to open a business on the island specializing in the sale of upholstery fabrics.  After selling that business, she became an independent sales rep in the clothing industry and for 12 years traveled the southeast coast calling on resort retail stores.


Her work in the vacation rental business began in 2006 with one of the largest rental companies on Hilton Head where she worked until June of 2020, moving on to join Mark at of the best professional decisions she has ever made.


Raising both a son and a daughter who are loving, kind, successful adults is her greatest accomplishment.  Spending time with them, walking on the beach with her 2 grand dogs, Elvis and Violet, caring for her orchids, exploring our beautiful Lowcountry, and helping others are her great joys.

Pam Kombrink


Pam brings decades of business experience from both the corporate world and as an entrepreneur starting and managing several successful businesses since the early 1970's.  Like son, Mark, she is a Jill-of-all-trades working as an educator, general contractor, and wherever her adventurous spirit led.  


Her most recent experience before moving from Illinois to Pooler, GA, in May 2020, was as a member of The Kombrink Team, a successful real estate company founded by Marv and Pam Kombrink in 1995.  The Kombrink Team is a family business that has included all three sons, Matt, Mark and Kris, and daughters-in-law Julie and Kerri.


Pam has 3 dogs, Harry, a standard poodle, Rose, a black lab, and Rhett, a yellow lab/golden retriever.  She and Marv are passionate about dogs and volunteering.  They have successfully combined those two interests by becoming registered with Pet Partners as therapy teams with all 3 dogs and as volunteer puppy raisers for Canine Companions for Independence.  

Kristen Clark


Kristen joins us as our new Director of Operations for host2coast.  Kristen has returned to Hilton Head Island after spending four glorious years as the Assistant General Manager for a Resort in Exuma, Bahamas. There she was directly involved with all aspects of business development, including property growth, human resources, procedure development, and implementation of the housekeeping and concierge services.  Kristen was responsible for creating the social media presence for the resort with lively and exciting displays. With nine years in the hospitality industry, Kristen brings a fresh approach to our marketing and social media as well as a pure desire to serve which brings her great joy!


When Kristen is not updating the host2coast social media accounts, scheduling housekeeping, and managing the guest experience, you may find her somewhere on the long beaches of Hilton Head, exploring one of the many places to dine, or in any one of the countless locations with live music. If she is not out and about, you will find Kristen in her favorite spot, at home with her husband and two cats, Bailey and Chiisana, cooking a delicious meal. 

Brian Homer-Gunther


Brian has joined the Host2Coast team as the General Manager.  Brian brings over 10 years of Hospitality Management and Project Management experience from New York to Key West, to Miami, and most recently, Exuma, Bahamas.  In these travels, Brian was directly involved in the ownership and management takeover of 12 hotels, 2 restaurants, and a beach club where he oversaw the budgeting of the renovation projects, created management plans for opening, and developed staff to meet the needs of the properties and guests.  Brian has been visiting Hilton Head for over 30 years before finally setting down roots in March of 2021.


Brian oversees the day-to-day business functions of Host2Coast, focused on the organizational growth of the company.  Brian also develops and manages the ongoing preventative maintenance programs for all homes and villas, assists current homeowners with project management oversight, and administers the onboarding process for new clients from signature to welcoming the first guests.


When not at work, Brian is often at home with his wife and two cats cooking a delicious dinner and relaxing.  Brian also enjoys playing tennis and golf, going out to eat, and traveling as much as possible.

Molly Morgan


Molly has joined our team in the position of Guest Relations and Property Manager.  With over 30 years of property management experience in the vacation rental industry and the long-term property management industry, Molly is a tremendous asset to both host2coast and our amazing owners!  Having grown up on Hilton Head Island and in this industry, Molly has a wealth of knowledge of our beautiful island from where the best beaches are to where the best restaurants are. 


Molly is passionate about serving our guests and ensuring the best experience while vacationing on Hilton Head Island.  Hosting guests is one of her greatest pleasures and she takes special delight in welcoming guests who are new to Hilton Head Island.


Molly will tell you her greatest accomplishment is her daughter Lucy, the smartest, kindest, most creative and compassionate young woman ever. Spending time with Lucy and their dog Bodhi and cat Kitty is the greatest joy for Molly.
