1614 Port Villas

We had a wonderful family stay but with a few caveats.<br/>While the villa overall was nicely cleaned we specifically noted to make sure the BBQ was clean and in working order. The BBQ was gross as was the attached grill brush.There was grease drippings all over the front of the grill, tons of leftover ashes and sand and dirt on the botton. The racks were coated and required a sturdy scraping. The mgmt company did send someone over the next morning to replace the grill brush with a new one and clean- which was barely done( we wound up cleaning ourselves). We were very explicit that our young grandchildren would be in the upstairs bedroom and that the guard rail should be in,which it was. However, there was a metal I think file cabinet along side the beds with out a top cover so there was very sharp metal edges and corners exposed,The mgmt company removed it promptly the next morning but if anyone goes through a pre-arrival check in of the rooms this should have been noted and removed. Of course the little light in the room left it rather dark so I guess it could be missed??The outdoor trash cans were full. We were told pick up was Wednesday and Saturday and we arrived why were the trash bins full Sunday at 4??<br/>The updated and well equipped kitchen is very nice as well as the new flooring. However, the bedding in the 2nd floor master needs an updating and the outdoor chair webbing as well. My husband sat in one of the chairs and the seat ripped straight across the seam. He is average height and weight the chairs just need updating.<br/>Very upsetting was the lack of information from the mgmt co regarding the pool fees. It is indicated on the website and the collateral in the villa as well as in one of the rental agreement papers very clearly that there is a $25.00 fee <br/>per day(up to 5 guests).The current fee is now $40 per day! When I called and inquired the agent had no idea and was upset that they werent told??Thats their job not Sea Pines.

Our family (two adults and two kids) booked this villa as a base for our 4th of July vacation. Grandparents and aunt/cousin joined us. We appreciated the two king beds, and each bedroom having its own bathroom was really valuable in giving each group their own space. The key draw is definitely proximity to South Beach (an easy walk for us) and to the Salty Dog and shops. Outdoor shower to clean up after the beach was great! Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. Check-in was easy and went exactly as described. The villa was clean and comfortable; we would definitely book it again.

We loved our stay at 1614 Port Villas. The location was great...right near the Salty Dog and the South Beach marina. We also loved sitting on the patio watching the birds and fish; we even had some dolphin swim through one evening! Host2coast was excellent to work with. The property was clean and exactly as shown in the pictures.

My family had a wonderful week in 1614 Port Villa.<br/>We have been vacationing Sea Pines for over 20 years. This location was really great being close to bike rentals, Salty Dog with Shopping, plus the beach is very close by. The landlord could update the kitchen dishes. None match another and 2 wine glasses. There should be at least 6 glasses. Other than this it was a great week together with family.

We would say all Hoast to Coast properties are top notch, because we’ve stayed in so many of them over the years. This trip we did encounter a couple issues but the top notch reputation applied and Hoast to Coast made sure our stay matched all the others to ensure our happiness continued. It’s one thing to be able to love the rental you find your self in after choosing from photos and descriptions on line. It a whole other to love it because of the support team that keeps it and maintains it for you to enjoy. We will continue to rent from Hoast to Coat for many years to come and highly Mrexomend !

This was a wonderful setting for a holiday home. The beach was 5 minutes walk away. We saw dolphins, pelicans, alligators and so much wildlife!
We hired bikes and cycled along the really safe routes. Wonderful break!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely love HHI but this was our first time staying in the South Beach Marina area - and our first time bringing our pup. Can't beat the location of this property and it was a wonderful space for our end of September getaway.My only suggestion would be that the outside space was very cluttered - the area where the garbage and outdoor shower is - and it was very challenging to a) get to the shower and laundry room door due to the stuff b) use the shower. Not sure if it was because it was off season or if that is just how it is, but with two kids and a dog, using that space was a daily must for us and the set up was not ideal. A hose would have been really helpful too.Otherwise, no complaints, we had a wonderful stay.

Great location. Spacious bedrooms, extremely clean. Exactly what we were expecting, able to fish off back patio. Pool access is an additional charge and only available for up to 5 guests. We went to beach daily, so having pool access was not an issue for our group. Really enjoyed our stay.

We were a group of 2 senior couples along with the other couple’s grown daughter. We had a great stay. Ate at Salty Dog a few times. Cooked at home most of the time. Rented bikes for half the week. The bike trails in Sea Pines are incredible!! So much fun. Daily walks on the beach. Day trip to Savannah was great fun! Great golf. The condo had everything we needed! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Please don’t take the Method soaps and dish detergent that are provided so that all future guests can enjoy them also. It’s really nice to have high quality products. This is a dog friendly unit and our two “girls” loved it. No signs or smells of other dogs upon our arrival. The kitchen is well stocked and has high quality appliances. Plenty of towels are provided and the H2C beach towels are great. Easy walk to the beach. So relaxing to just sit out back and watch all the birds. Highly recommended.

My family had a great time at this property. It wasn’t too hot on the 3rd floor and my teenagers loved the extra space. Only addition that would be great is if the property had a couple beach chairs and an umbrella.

Condo was very clean and layout was perfect for our family of 6. Two king suites are spacious and comfortable. The twin beds were perfect for teens “hangout”. We love the convenience of being within walking distance to the pool and all the great things in South Beach!

Great location! It is a quick walk to the tennis courts, Salty Dog, pool and the beach. Good to have 3 levels to spend time together or divide up. Beautiful view of the lagoon and enjoyed watching the fishing guides each morning and the tides come in and out. Kitchen and dining area are updated and a great place to gather. Rented bikes but did not use them very much since everything is so close. Wish the kitchen had a Keurig so I could have a quick cup of coffee.

Had a great time exploring a new part of Sea Pines, particularly kayaking! Enjoyed the condo layout and decor. Beautiful views and a convenient walk to the beach. Only minor issue was the difference in temperatures between the first and third floors-had to be very cold downstairs to keep the upstairs bearable.

This was a gorgeous location with everything you need for a great vacation. Fish in the back yard, activity nearby, and an easy walk to the beach. You can’t beat seeing dolphins every day!

Overall the villa is very nice. I was contacted prior to our arrival to let us know there would likely be maintenance being completed. The contractors were there most of the day Saturday, most of the day Tuesday. The balconies were not completed and in my opinion were not safe to use. I am currently waiting on a call back from Molly.
