18 Heron Street

This is a very happy house for large family stays, and it’s filled with coastal charm. We stayed for 10 days over Christmas with our three adult daughters and their husbands and one grand baby! Everyone had their own personal space and the incredible kitchen/dining/living room made our big family dinners and evenings together so easy and so much fun! The house is perfectly large and cozy at the same time. And the location is ideal! The beach is a step away, and restaurants, bars and a grocery store are incredibly close by. We walked to all them frequently! The house is fully stocked in terms of kitchen needs, extra blankets, beach chairs and wagons! Thank you Host2Coast for being so great to work with!! My son graduated from Paris Island over the weekend so we stayed in this beautiful home with friends and family! We had a lovely time, the home was beautiful and spacious, no big complaints just little things like spa jets not working, loose door knobs/cabinet knobs, rusted grill, ants in one of the bathrooms upstairs, just little maintenance things, otherwise this house is phenomenal and I would recommend it to everyone! Hoping to visit again!

Everything about this place is awesome. since we were a group of 20 golfers, the huge basement / garage provided ample storage and still had plenty of room for games. Beach is right there and the provided chairs and beach activities were awesome! 10/10 would stay again

Seventeen women stayed at the house for a sorority reunion. Everyone loved the location, bedroom and bathroom layout, huge open area on the first floor for cooking, eating, lounging, etc. Any issues were quickly and effectively addressed by the host. 2 minute walk to the beach. Pool and spa were clean and heated. All rooms were immaculate. We would rebook in a heartbeat!

The home has a great layout. First floor with 2 large king size bedrooms, kitchen, great room with large screen tv and extensive sitting area that accommodated everyone. Second floor bedrooms and wrap around porch sitting area overlooking pool for added privacy. Elevator from garage allows for easy access to first and second floors which we used to transport luggage. The Home had all you could ask for and nice touch when we arrived with a nice welcome package. Home was in great shape and extremely clean. Beach towels were also provided. Loved our stay and host was very responsive to our needs.

We loved the house, the easy walk to the beach, convenient to shopping and restaurants. I would give the location an A+. The only issue for us were the doors. Many were either hard to open, hard to close, or hard to lock . Otherwise it was a great house. Our interactions with Host2 Coast were taken care of timely and they were easy to work with. Also love that they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome!

18 Heron is a great rental! Very well stocked, as others have mentioned. Large family gathering area and kitchen. The two washer & dryer setup was great for multi-families. Maybe we've had bad luck in the past, but 18 Heron pool & spa heat was the best we've had at a vacation rental - spa can almost get too hot, but can easily be turned off. Proximity of beach is excellent - front door to beach in 2-3 minutes. Lots of beach toys for kids, and chairs for adults. We had a couple of minor issues upon arrival, and H2H responded quickly and remedied the situation the next day. Overall, we highly recommend this rental and H2H rental company.

This was an incredible Beach House for our large family with lots of kids. Everyone had enough space to have fun, relax, and enjoy! The layout and amenities of the house provided anything and everything we could have wanted for our stay. The pool and deck was spacious to accommodate plenty of outdoor activities and lounging. The location to the beach provided ease to trips back and forth for ocean time while proximity to Coligny Plaza allowed for shopping fun!

We needed a big house for family get together. 18 Heron St. fit the bill, clean and well stocked. There was easy interaction with rental company, having an app for rental information/door codes and updates was helpful. Plenty of space with multiple rooms, great outdoor area with grill patios and pool. Spacious kitchen for meal prep for a large group. Within easy walking distance to shopping/dinning. Beach access is close by, during full moon the high tide will limit beach space due to erosion from prior storms but still room to enjoy the beach. Would recommend this location highly.

This was a great house to stay for family reunion. It was spacious and spotlessly clean. Lots of bedrooms, each with a private bath, gave everyone a sense of privacy. The common areas were spacious, the kitchen was well equipped. The neighborhood was quiet residential. It was literally three houses from the beach. The beach was wide, shallow with gentle waves, perfect for little ones. The hosts provided beach towels, plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas, wagons and sand toys for the kids.
Ice cream, coffee shop, clothing and supermarket are within half mile walk.
A disappointment with our stay was the rather exorbitant price they wanted to heat the pool, so we declined even though the week was rather cool. The spa attached to the pool was tiny and jets were non-functional.
Normally I am used to communicating with hosts via Airbnb. In this case, they preferred their own hospitality app be used, so communication was a bit spotty back-and-forth initially.

We had 3 families with a total of 13 people and there was a ton of room to spread out. When you first walk up the stairs to the main deck and pool, the area is perfect for sitting and relaxing or entertaining a larger group of friends that come over to relax around the pool. The pool heat was on when we got there, but was probably set a little too high. The pool was around 90deg so it wasn't the most refreshing, but it was almost 80deg everyday outside, so we probably didn't need the heat at all. Once the pool cooled down after a day, it was perfect. There are toys and chairs in the garage for the beach so there isn't much that you need to bring from home. The kitchen and main living area is expansive and perfect for hanging with everyone. The bedrooms are setup almost perfect in our opinions, but we believe to make the house setup even better, the two king bedrooms that share a bathroom should be setup for one family. We would setup one of the king rooms with the 2 queen beds so a family could share that bathroom if multiple families were staying. And then the other king room, where the current 2 queens are, would be a master suite. 18Heron is easily within walking distance to Coligny. The beach is only a rock throw away from the front door. The beach is perfect also. It is serene as you walk out on basically your own private beach, but if you want to be in all the action, take the short walk down the beach to where Pool Bar Jims and the Tiki Bar are located. The property was very clean and we loved every inch of it. Host2Coast had amazing communication through the entire process of renting to our arrival and anything that was needed. The customer service is top notch. This is one of the best houses we have found on HHI. We have already booked it again for next year. Thanks Host2Coast and 18 Heron for the perfect vacation.

We are a family of 14 - seven adults and seven children from ages 2 to 17. We had room to spread out and bedrooms that fit everyone. The pool off the front door was the perfect size and yes, the home is so close to the beach. The kitchen is bigger than the pictures show, which was great for us as we prefer making our own meals vs eating out.

We felt very safe and secure being elevated and there was a gate at the entryway. The house was stocked with everything we needed to cook some home cook meals from the house, with the exception of bring a few of our favorite seasonings. It had more than enough room for us 7 adults and 4 kids. We had some issues with the heating of the Spa and each time I called they were very helpful and attentive to resolve the issue. There were 9 adults and 4 children staying at the property which was lovely and perfect for our needs. Plenty of space in downstairs area to accommodate everyone. We cooked most nights and there was more than adequate cook and table ware. The pool was great hit with all ages and the beach was only steps away from the house. We played ping pong in the garage! Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

18 Heron St was perfect for our needs. Bedrooms & bathrooms galore. The pool and hot tub, although sometimes uncooperative, were nice with cool, windy weather making the beach a challenge w/infants. The ping pong table hosted a double elimination tournament that was full of laughs and great shots. We couldn’t get the elevator to cooperate either but it wasn’t a deterrent to good times. Host2Coast, the property manager, we’re ultra-responsive and very pleasant. We’d stay with them again.

Everything about this property suited our group perfectly. Close, but not too close to Coligny Beach and it's shops. Just feet from a beautiful section of beach. The pool, which I paid to have heated, was enjoyed everyday. And the island provided dolphin tours, fishing, nature walks, and an endless variety of restaurants. The house was clean and comfortable. Any issues, which were small, were immediately taken care of by the staff.

We especially enjoyed the pingpong table. The only significant shortcoming was pool/hot tub temperature management.

18 Heron Street was a lovely home. The kitchen/great room was very spacious. We really appreciated: *2 washers and dryers - a set on each floor *Elevator - once you know how it works, it was very helpful *lots of room to prepare food and store groceries *Bedrooms were good size - only problem was the bunk room. It is way to small to sleep 8 bodies and a fan was delivered when requested, but the air flow in the room at the end of the home was not good *Really enjoyed the 2nd story entertainment room for the children *Loved the pool - but we had numerous problems with the spa and the system working. Susan and Mark from Host2Coast were very responsive to our needs, but we felt we had to contact them more often than we would have expected. *A very short walk to the beach, and the beach wagon and beach chairs were great to have at our disposal. The ocean location is wonderful and the neighborhood was lovely and not too crowded.

We had our entire family together for my father-in-law’s 80th birthday. The house was perfect! So close to the beach and the pool was awesome. My father-in-law and mother-in-law could get up early and sit on the beautiful deck, under cover, and watch people going to and from the beach. We shared laughs, stories, cocktails and made new memories.

Great house in a great location! The house was spread out enough that everyone felt like they had their own space, yet the common areas in the kitchen and family room were wide open so we could all be together. The house had everything we needed, including towels, beach chairs, wagon, elevator, pool, wide variety of kitchen tools, cookware, and dishware, large refrigerator in the kitchen along with an extra fridge in the garage - everything we needed for the week! Host2coast was outstanding in communication and response and quickly addressed an issue we noticed that wasn't even affecting our stay. The bunk room in the upper corner of the house did seem to have difficulty staying cool, but I feel certain that host2coast will be looking into this concern. The location of this house is ideal - close enough to walk/bike to Coligny and very short walk to a very uncrowded beach. We'll definitely look for this house and these hosts next time we're in town!

This house was stunning. The access to the beach is literally, right around the corner. We were pleasantly surprised there was an ocean view from the top deck. We had 5 different families, ages ranged from 3 months - 67, and there was plenty of room for all! The pool is where it's at! We lived in the kitchen and living area, which had PLENTY of room for all 19 of us (3 under 8 months). The beach was clean and beautiful. The property managers were wonderful as well. Their customer service is top-notch, and I loved the app for the house with SO much information about the area and the house itself. We usually don't stay twice in a house when we travel because we like to try new houses, but this is one we said we would all come back to, due to the house itself, and the property managers of Host2Coast!

There was plently of open space to gather together but also plenty of space (including decks with hammock chairs) to get quiet time away when needed. The poo/hot tub area were wonderful and close enough to the beach that you could easily go back and forth several times a day. We loved the it was walkable to restaurants with live music. House was well stocked and very clean and we loved the amenities that the management company provided. The management company even called us to let us know that the house was ready to check in early. We will definitely stay here again!!!

A perfect house for a large group. We had a few issues with internet/ tv, but Mark and Susan were extremely diligent in working toward a solution. Even though the house is a block off the beach, it is a very short walk - even for small ones. The pool heated well which was perfect for November.

The house was a perfect location - one small block to the beach. The pool heated up nicely, important in November. Plenty of room - however, the second bedroom downstairs is located directly behind the kitchen, extremely noisy. The rest of the bedrooms worked well - two laundry rooms and two refrigerators were a bonus. The house was well stocked, and Host to Coast was extremely responsive to any of our needs.

We had an amazing week-long stay at 18Heron. The house is setup great for multiple families to stay here. We had 3 families with a total of 13 people and there was a ton of room to spread out. <br/>When you first walk up the stairs to the main deck and pool, the area is perfect for sitting and relaxing or entertaining a larger group of friends that come over to relax around the pool. The pool heat was on when we got there, but was probably set a little too high. The pool was around 90deg so it wasn't the most refreshing, but it was almost 80deg everyday outside, so we probably didn't need the heat at all. Once the pool cooled down after a day, it was perfect. There are toys and chairs in the garage for the beach so there isn't much that you need to bring from home. <br/>The kitchen and main living area is expansive and perfect for hanging with everyone. <br/>The bedrooms are setup almost perfect in our opinions, but we believe to make the house setup even better, the two king bedrooms that share a bathroom should be setup for one family. We would setup one of the king rooms with the 2 queen beds so a family could share that bathroom if multiple families were staying. And then the other king room, where the current 2 queens are, would be a master suite. <br/>18Heron is easily within walking distance to Coligny. The beach is only a rock throw away from the front door. The beach is perfect also. It is serene as you walk out on basically your own private beach, but if you want to be in all the action, take the short walk down the beach to where Pool Bar Jims and the Tiki Bar are located. <br/>The property was very clean and we loved every inch of it. Host2Coast had amazing communication through the entire process of renting to our arrival and anything that was needed. The customer service is top notch. <br/>This is one of the best houses we have found on HHI. We have already booked it again for next year. <br/>Thanks Host2Coast and 18 Heron for the perfect vacation.
