5 Lark Street

Our family of 5 enjoyed this 3rd row charming beach home on North Forest Beach. The home was clean and had everything we needed. Cozy, clean and close to the best beach on the island. This was also way more affordable than other homes we have rented over the years. Easy walk or bike ride to Coligny for groceries, shopping, ice cream etc. Kids love the beach access steps away. So did us parents.

Surf Cottage Heaven!! Our stay at 5 Lark St. was amazing! The house is literally steps to the beach. The house, an older beach house, was well adorned and clean. The furniture and layout of the home was comfortable and easy for our family. The kitchen was spacious and covered all of our needs. The firepit and grill area were used daily and are super quaint and comfortable. We also spent time on the screened back porch and stored our surf boards in the surf rack on the back deck. The kids loved the hanging chairs by the firepit. We STRONGLY recommend this little A-frame surf cottage to anyone who appreciates the beach and coziness!!

This A-Frame cottage is perfect for a beach stay - we are local and loved living life on the other end of the island for a month. Woke up and walked 1/2 block to watch the sunrise every morning and let our dogs run on the beach. House is easy with concrete floors, well appointed kitchen and everything you need for a day on the the beach and cookout at home complete with outdoor fire pit, hammock chairs, corn hole, grill, etc. Rental company and host made sure we had everything we needed. Miss it already!

The coffee pot was not functioning the first morning. We brought it to staff attention and another new coffee machine was brought to us in under an hour amazing care and service.

The location was fantastic! The house is a bit dates and the floors look like they were painted but the paint was peeling—especially in the bathroom. We purchased some cheap bath mats to prevent the paint flakes from getting on our feet. Overall the place was clean.

The location is unbeatable! Just steps to the beach. The house had some issues- the painted bathroom floor was flaking and stuck to your feet (had to wear sandals in there). The kitchen had cookware/plates/utensils, but nothing extra like sugar, napkins, tissues, etc. It was clearly a quick flip of an old house. Living space was nice, lots of towels/blankets/pillows, but beds were not super comfortable. Bring everything you want for the beach. Overall, the location was unbeatable but the house wasn't anything spectacular for the price.

The house was a very convenient location to the beach and shopping. The best part is that it was dog friendly. The house is a little dated, but it was clean. We did have an issue with the plumbing, but we made a phone call and they came right out to fix it. I think the house was great for what we were looking for.

Perfect spot. Literally 2 minutes from the house until your toes are in the water. A 15-to-20-minute walk to Coligny Plaza along a shaded bike/walk path (about the same along the beach). The kitchen was much larger than we expected and had all of the basics. The back porch had a large fan that kept it comfortable even during the heat of the day. We didn't use the firepit, but we sat around it at night. The chairs were very comfortable. The only thing that was a negative for me was the stairs. Very narrow and steep. Getting luggage up there was a little tricky. Overall vibe was a hand-me-down generational family vacation house. Would definitely stay there again!
