531 Shorewood

This is our third time staying at this particular condo and we love it. Perfect location, close and walkable to many local restaurants and shops. Access to the beach is easy, and the pool at the condo is great. We would concur with many of the positive comments in other reviews and we will stay here again. I would call out two opportunities. One is the pool should be heated in September and October. It was the first day of our stay and then went cold. We and others were told they don’t heat the pool in the fall, but we were pleasantly surprised when the heat was back on our last few days. Point is they should just leave it on. We had 5 days of cold pool water. Secondly, the condo is fully equipped with 4 great beach chairs and 2 umbrellas, but that was not noted on the amenities listing. I hauled down our personal beach equipment and didn’t need to. I also concur on the dishwasher/cabinet issue. But I would recommend this unit to anyone and we’ll be back!

We love HHI, Coligny and shorewood has become our favorite home away from home. This year we decided to rent 531 and it was AMAZING! The beds were all so very clean and comfortable with great bedding and linens. The extra method soaps, plant based detergents for washing and dishwashing as well as coffee filter, very lush beach towels, Tommy Bahama chairs (2 are broken and need to be replaced), salt pepper, paper towels, toilet paper, beach umbrella, games, puzzles, coffee pot and filters, blender, crockpot etc.... were all so wonderful to have. The decor and all of the lamps were so welcoming and made us feel at home. We are grateful for the love and care put into this amazing condo. The dishwasher is very close to a cabinet and scrapes every single time. It needs to be redesigned and one cabinet face fell off. You will see the updates and love them. Oh, the view, the view, the view. It is perfect for those who like to sit out and perfect for the grandparents that want to take everything, but stay close to home. Have so much fun. We will be back.

This was one of the nicest VRBO’s we have stayed in. It was spotless when we arrived. The beds and linens are so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we could have wanted. Plenty of bath and pool towels. The location is really perfect because you can walk to so many restaurants and shops at Coligny Plaza. The pool and beach access is perfect. There is literally no cons to this place. We hope to be back next summer!

This location had great access to everything. The private beach access right from the property was less crowded than the public beach access and you could walk directly to restaurants and shops. It was very clean in the whole process was easy!

Great Location! Great Views! This place was the perfect vacation spot for our family. It was only a 5-minute walk to Coligny Beach plaza that had shops, restaurants and even a grocery store. Nicely decorated villa with outstanding views of the pool and ocean. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen layout is a bit cramped...we had to remove knobs from cabinets to open the dishwasher. Coffeemaker could be upgraded. Everything else was wonderful!! We had a great week

we thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Shorewood. The condo was exactly as advertised. A good learning was that we happened to pick the same week as the fall break for schools and the pool was packed with kids. They overran the hot tub which was posted to be 12+ years old only, but it was not enforced often. The condo was great, and I would highly recommend this unit to anyone considering it.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was the perfect size for our family of 4. It is very well kept, clean, and comfortable. The complex is also very nice and well kept. The pool is great, it is a short walk straight out to the beach, and you can walk or bike to all the shops and restaurants up the street. We would stay again for sure.

We found fair amount of hair balls and long black hair on the floor. - The dishwasher was not connected to the cabinet. For safety reason it needs to probably be fixed.

531 Shorewood is a great location and a very nice property. It is a very short walk to nearby shops and restaurants (the frozen moo being one of our favorite ice cream spots). The beach was never overly crowded and easy to access. Overall a great place to stay and in a great location!

Perfect location. Convenient walk to Coligny shopping Center. Many great shops and restaurants. Grocery store close by. We rented bikes and had an easy ride on the beach to Habour Town and rode the bike trails back to condo. Condo was perfect, comfy beds and equipped with everything we needed. Beautiful view of the beach from the deck, beautiful pool & hot tub, highly recommend this condo. We will be back.

Rental is in an amazing location! Would highly recommend. However, unit was not cleaned thoroughly. Having to pay over $100 cleaning fee for a dusty unit is very disappointing. Love how unit is decorated and the view was wonderful. The included beach chairs were very high quality. The kitchen and bathrooms could use a facelift. Perhaps include a handheld vacuum to quickly clean up sand throughout one&#x2019;s stay in the unit. We plan to return next year, but hoping for a more thorough cleaning.

All 4 of us were very impressed with the property. The 2 bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was very nice and well equiped. Bathrooms were n ice. Beach and bathroom towels just as advertised. The condo was very clean. It came with everything we needed and more. Once you park your car, you can walk or ride your bike anywhere you need to go. The pool and ocean are both just a few steps away. We will certainly be back.

Overall a nice rental unit. Loved the proximity to the pool, beach and shopping and restaurants. We had an issue with our a/c but it was handled promptly. The only thing I didn&#x2019;t care for, was the living room couch and chair. The fabric I found to be itchy and not very comfortable.

This condo is in a great location with a great view of the ocean. It was very clean and had everything you could think of. We really appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs, and umbrella. The welcome bag with water and cookies iwas a nice touch. It was perfect for me, my husband, and our two kids especially since they had their own bathroom!

We stayed at the property late August. The apartment was spotless and everything was as described in the listing. The location was perfect…beach access, great pool, very short walk to shopping and dining. The kids loved some of the extra games and pool toys that were available for guest use. Very comfortable. We hope to come back next year and recommend this location.

I’ve stayed at this complex before and this condo is my favorite so far! It’s well decorated, clean and has an amazing view. We really enjoyed the space which was perfect for myself, partner and teenage son. The huge flat screen was a big + for the teenager! Highly recommend!!

This condo was meant for us!! We love traveling with our friends whom have 2 small kids (3&5) but it’s hard to find something that can accommodate us. From the moment I messaged asking questions before booking to questions about checking in early, I got nothing but speedy and great communication/ customer service. They had everything we needed from a basket full of nice quality beach towels, full stock of laundry detergent as wells as dish washer detergent, and even all the beach accessories you could need. As for the property, you will not be disappointed there either. The pool is perfect for all ages, our friends 5 year old loved the 0 entry and even learned to swim by herself! We will 100% be back the next friendcation we go on 😍 Thank you Mark for everything!

Beautiful, well appointed condo right in the heart of Coligny Plaza and Forest Beach. Walking distance to shops and restaurants, which was great for our 18 and 21 year olds who didn't want to hang out with Mom, Dad and Grammy!
