71 Moorings is where you will find your beach "home away from home", where you can bring the family and friends to make memories you will treasure!
Natural light and views enhance the open design of this 2 bedroom, 3 bath villa, creating an indoor/outdoor feel as you can access the balconies from the living space and the bedrooms. The living area is perfect for game and movie nights with the gang and is open to the dining area where you can set up all the snacks and goodies! Don't worry about missing out on the fun if you have to be in the fully-equipped kitchen preparing meals. It's open to the dining and living areas so you can be a part of the action.
In addition to the guest bathroom in the common space, both bedrooms have full baths to accommodate everyone. The Primary suite with king bed and the guest bedroom with two queen beds are perfect for your family of 6. Plus, there is a sofa sleeper. These rooms, with balcony access and lovely views, are ideal for afternoon siestas and sweet dreams at night.
This villa is located in The Moorings complex, which is less than 150 steps to the beach. We have walked it ourselves and it's exactly 2 minutes! And the shared pool with large deck is great for lounging and soaking up the sun. The Dunes House Bar and Grill is located at the beach access point, and serves lunch and dinner seasonally. Across from the complex are the largest of Palmetto Dunes' tennis courts (available to reserve for a fee), and the bike trails are easily accessible to take you throughout Palmetto Dunes, as well as to Shelter Cove Marina and shopping.
No matter what your favorite leisure activity is on the island, this outstanding villa offers easy access. Book now!
Please Note: This villa is located up 3 flights of exterior stairs and has no elevator. 2 Palmetto Dunes gate passes are included in your booking. Each additional gate pass is $25.00/week, per vehicle. We at host2coast will order your gate passes for you and will have them here at our office at 1 Corpus Christi Place, Suite 102, HHI, SC 29928 for you to pick up prior to your arrival.

The property is just like it looks in the pictures, which is not always the case. I appreciate that the children's bedroom is essentially its own wing, giving separation from the living room and parents' bedroom we adults can still hang out without disturbing the kids. The Beach really is only a 3 or 4 minute walk, and we loved that the Dune's Beach House was right there for quick bites and drinks.

The condo is very cozy, comfortable and clean. The check in service was easy. The unit was clean upon arrival. We enjoyed the complimentary beach bag/goodies. We had a few issues with the plumbing, but host2coast was extremely responsive and sent someone out quickly. Turned out nothing was broken, but the fixtures were a bit quirky to use. The location of the unit was fantastic - just steps from the beach and the Dunes restaurant. Loved our stay and hope to return! <br/>

we enjoyed our stay and have already renewed for next year. That probably says all you need to know. Location is excellent as we rode bikes on beach, walked the beach and/or read on the beach most days. But we also went to Pinkney Island Wildlife Refuge 4 times, kayaked 3 times, played pickleball numerous times and went to Mitchelville beach couple times, went to theater and Jazz Corner, visited Savannah. Location good for all that.

amazing location within walking distance to beach even with all of our gear. also close to pool and an easy bike ride to stores and marina. The entire place was spotless. We were a family of 6 who used the kitchen to cook a few meals and I was pleased to find everything so clean and well stocked. Upon arrival I had to reach out to the property manager with a question. Despite it being after hours I immediately get connected to a real person, and they were so responsive and pleasant. Thank you for a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at 71 Moorings and really loved its proximity to the beach, bike paths, and beach restaurant. It was good for a family with young kids. The unit was generally clean and had a well-stocked kitchen with pots and pans and utensils, which we found helpful. The bathrooms in this unit (particularly the showers) could use updating and cleaning. The shower caddies were completely rusted and the drain stoppers were extremely dirty and old and need to be replaced. The plaster in the one updated bathroom started peeling off of the ceiling and falling down near the toilet during our stay. The living spaces and bedrooms were much nicer than the bathrooms. There was also a tear in one of the screen doors that meant we couldn’t use it to avoid bugs coming in. Again, generally the unit is quite nice but some maintenance and updates needed.

We love The Moorings -- units are very well designed, with a great living area, open kitchen, two balconies, a room for our teenage daughter that feels almost like her separate unit. This newly renovated condo met all our needs for our 1 month stay in Palmetto Dunes. It's closeness to the ocean & the Dunes House restaurant is a <br/>nice advantage, along with lovely walking & biking trails in the neighborhood. There is a General Store within biking or walking distance where you can grab a quick breakfast. Pickleball & tennis courts close by also. Queen beds in guest room are especially comfortable. King bed in Master bedroom was too soft of a mattress for our likes. Kitchen cupboards are well stocked with dishes, glasses, cookware, etc. , leaving little room to unload groceries & items we brought with us. Otherwise, we loved everything about it<br/>Management staff were very helpful with our request to help carry heavy totes up flights of stairs. Enjoyed being able to load our Netflix account into the TV in the guest bedroom. Wish Netflix had been available on the living room TV. Very nice condo. Be sure you can climb stairs without any issue

There were two minor issues that I would recommend you address, repair the locking mechanism on the slider doors and repair the lamp or ballast in the shower light at the laundry bathroom shower. I'm only mentioning because as a landlord myself I would want to know ... you have a great rental and I highly recommend your property!

This condo is in a great location for both beach goers and golfers. My wife could walk 100 yards to the beach and I a 150 to the range for my therapy session. Condo was well cleaned and the whole process was seamless and easy. It was my first rental with VRBO and these folks made is effortless... from purchase to departure. Additionally, they were very responsive when we made a request for beach towels.

This is a great unit in a wonderful location. The rooms have plenty of space we had 3 adults and 2 children we fit perfectly. We had an issue with the air-conditioning not working when we arrived but Mark the property manager had someone there to fix it as fast as possible. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking to be close to the beach and who does not mind being in the hustle bustle of Palmetto Dunes as the beach access point is one of the busiest on the property . P.S. Thanks for the prompt response to our air conditioning issue. We had a great vacation overall. Very nice unit.

The condo we rented was very welcoming. It’s decor was tastefully done and access to the pool and ocean was just a short walk. There are excellent designated walk and bike paths available. There is a General Store within walking distance which has everything from ice cream to gifts for the entire family. Could not have asked for a better first visit to Hilton Head. The little touches by Host2coast (ie welcome bag, flowers, beach towels) were so nice. The Villa was a bit bigger than we expected and was a lovely home away from home. Perfect location for the island and beach/pool. Parking was no issue. Wonderful communication before and during the trip as well. We didn’t have any issues but I imagine if we did they would’ve been handled promptly. Would definitely go back to HHI and stay with Host2coast again. Thanks for a great spring break!Loved the welcome bag and flowers - they were a lovely touch. The little upgrades and modernization done from previous owner by you guys were just lovely. Having extra beach towels were a huge help - and the bright orange helped us find our spot on the beach when we went to the ocean. The app and all of the communication was so helpful. Really no issues or complaints. First experience with Airbnb and HHI and it was great. Thanks so much for a great spring break!Compliments: Outstanding hospitality; Thoughtful touches

We had a great experience with our Host2Coast stay. The location of the Palmetto Dunes condo we rented was perfect. We loved biking the beautiful shaded paths and enjoyed the close proximity to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Host2Coast was great to work with and supplied wonderful amenities. Will definitely book again in the future.
